The main gateway to Center Drive on
the south central part of Central Park,
Artists' Gate is the pathway for
many visitors.
With the towering statue ofJosé Julian Martí the South American
liberator and its long stairway down to
the Pond it also provides a direct route
to Wollman Rink, which is directly
to the north.
