Central
Park has many interesting rock
formations and this is one of them.
The Dene Rock is a complex outcropping
with many climbing possibilities. Its face
is steep, but once traversed it leads to a
massive boulder with a rolling surface just
beyond the Dene Shelter. The pinnacle of
this bedrock provides a great view of the
city to the south as well as the hills and
valleys of the Dene surrounding it.
