[Unveiled 1883] Sculpted: 1883 Sculptor: Edward Kemeys

High on an outcrop overlooking the
East Drive in Central Park, no one seems to
notice a panther about to pounce. Well, not a
real panther, but a bronze sculpture
of the wild cat named Still Hunt.
Joggers and bikers alike, generally
hurry by never seeing this large cat
crouching and watching their every
move. Located on the edge of the Ramble, it seems fitting as a reminder
of the smaller animals and birds that
can be found in the Park.
