Overlooking
the intersection of the
West Drive and Terrace Drive with
the statue of Daniel Webster looming
high above on his pedestal is the
Lower Meadow. It is a quiet, narrow
unobtrusive field bordering the
West Drive.
In the spring it flourishes with the rich
color of pink rhododendrons that line
its eastern perimeter.
